Russ Winter gets a second at Lynmouth.

Russ got a great second at lynmouth on what was the highest scoring final ever. Takes him one place closer to winning the 2011 tour NS Boards and Russ flighying on his Bullet Model.

NS boards take the trophies in Saltburn

The event took place over Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May

Saturday saw a small swell of waves but with the promise of better conditions the event was held over until the Sunday. This proved the right decision as the surf improved with a swell consistently breaking all day

The full competition was run through-out the day with all 4 categories of competition completed

Highlights-

The current Men’s Pro Champion -Russell Winter (from Newquay Cornwall) won the Men’s competition with Gordon Fontaine (France) in second place. The Women’s Pro event was won by Holly Donnelly (from Newquay)

In the Men’s Pro division- local Newcastle surfer Sam Lamiroy competed and finished in 5th position
